I��m extremely happy with this bed frame. It looks even better in person than it did in the pictures. I��m very satisfied with my purchase and would happily buy it again.
When the box first showed up, my first thought was, ��Wow��this thing is heavy.�� If you live upstairs like I do, I��d definitely recommend getting someone to help move it inside. Once I opened everything, there were screws, metal bars, and wooden pieces spread all over my floor. For a minute I wondered if I had gotten myself into a much bigger project than I expected.I still ended up putting it together by myself on a Sunday afternoon. It took me about two and a half hours, which honestly wasn��t bad considering how many pieces there were. The instructions were much easier to follow than I expected, and every part had a label on it, so I wasn��t wasting time trying to figure out what went where. My hands were definitely sore by the time I finished because there��s a lot of manual screwing, but I never ran into that frustrating moment where the holes don��t line up or you��re missing hardware. Everything fit together the way it was supposed to.Once it was all assembled, I liked it a lot more than I expected. The listing photos really don��t do it justice. I was a little worried the wood finish would look kind of fake, but in person it actually looks pretty nice. The dark metal frame mixed with the wood gives it a simple industrial look without making the room feel too dark.One feature I��ve ended up using way more than I thought is the shelf on the headboard. My bedroom isn��t very big, so I don��t even have room for a nightstand on one side of the bed. Now I just leave my phone charger, a glass of water, my TV remote, and sometimes my glasses up there before I go to sleep. It��s one of those little things that makes everyday life a bit easier. I also wasn��t expecting much from the LED lights, but they��ve actually been nice to have. I usually turn them on at night instead of using the ceiling light when I��m winding down, and the softer lighting is a lot more relaxing.The storage drawers were actually the main reason I picked this bed, and they��ve worked out really well. I managed to fit heavy winter blankets, extra sheets, hoodies, and a bunch of clothes that had been taking up closet space. The drawers roll in and out smoothly on my floor, and I haven��t had any issues with them getting stuck.As far as sturdiness goes, I really don��t have any complaints so far. After tightening everything down, the frame feels solid. I move around a lot when I sleep, and I kept expecting to hear some squeaks after the first few nights, but it has stayed quiet. The mattress doesn��t slide around either, which I appreciate.
